I enjoy writing. I so often think in writing. I've got a recurring track in my head that likes to convert everying I see or do into prose form. What I've done on this page is collect a few examples of what happens when I try it out for real.
At the moment, this is kind of an 'early years' collection. I had to fight the urge to rewrite them completely while I was sorting them out for the web.

Here are some more general fiction links: |
Career Sapphism (1993)
Originally written as part of an assignment to do a story about discrimination. There are parts of this I'm still proud of, there are parts that make me want to hide. Still, this one made it publication, in the first and only issue of Dreams of a Lime Green Catsuit in 1997.
Premiere (1996)
A First Time story. Both this one and the next were written as part of my Professional Writing class at university.
Grey Not Yesterday (1996)
A reasonably dark story, and a pretty different genre for me. It's about rape, so leave this one aside if that might upset you.
As Girls Go (1995)
A teenager's reaction to her friend's gender-transition. The title is from a Suzanne Vega song about, well, much the same thing.
Fantasy Bleeds Away (1997)
A vampire fanboy looks to join the undead. Originally appeared in Deep Night, Dark Night issue 2 in 1997.
